Jennifer Brown’s session, “The 8 Tactics to Overcome Costly Mistake”, at the Business Fundamentals Boot Camp was extremely beneficial.  I learned about common, yet critical, issues that small business face and how to approach them.  These included topics from “compliance with new laws” to “hiring right”.  Jenifer provided insightful scenarios and answers to questions about what to do first, second and third to improve our management and HR practices. Jennifer is an extremely engaging and knowledge speaker.  Her style is both professional and relatable as her level of expertise shines though in her answers to questions from the audience. With the growth of business, even without being an employer, having a work environment that would attract new assistants or any new employee is very important.
