Jennifer Brown – Founder and CEO

Jennifer holds and undergraduate degree in Business Management and an MBA, both with concentrations in HR and Organizational Development from The University of Maryland.  Additionally, she maintains the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. Career highlights include various Senior Human Resources roles at Freddie Mac as well as Senior and Staff Consultant positions at Anderson Consulting (Accenture). She is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith Business School, and has developed and taught Human Resources, Employment Law, and Organizational Development courses.

Amanda Bednar – Senior HR Consultant

Amanda Bednar is passionate about the strategic role that HR has when it comes to the success of an organization. Her ability to help her clients identify and develop their talent along with creating cultures that foster growth has helped take her clients’ HR initiatives and organizations to the next level. She brings an enthusiastic and personal approach to every project and is able to connect with leaders, employees, and candidates – building strong relationships based on expertise and trust.

Amanda brings over 10 years of experience in the fields of recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and HR operations. Prior to joining PeopleTactics, Amanda worked with notable organizations such as Talentworx, Javelin Marketing Group, The LaSalle Network, and PeopleScout, Inc.

Amanda received numerous accolades and awards for her achievement in recruitment, employee relations, and reduction of employee turnover.  She holds a Master’s degree in the field of Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH.

 

Angela Wells – Senior HR Consultant

Angela Wells has great passion for HR and believes in the importance of attracting, retaining and developing talent which contribute to the success of an organization. She values the role of the HR Consultant as a true business partner on a path to accomplishing an organization’s goals. Building strong relationships with a hands-on approach to consulting is important to her. She prides herself in integrity, interpersonal skills, communication, as well as the ability to guide and mentor others.

Angela brings over 15 years of experience in the areas of employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, effectiveness and strategy, HR policy, compliance, benefits, organizational development, workforce analytics, and professional training and development. During her career, she has held various positions including HR Director and HR Consultant with top-notch firms in various industries within the private sector, commercial, non-profit, government contracting arena.

Angela is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and holds both the Senior Professional of Human Resources and SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) certifications.  She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from The University of Tennessee.

 

Paula Welch – Senior Recruiter

Paula’s passion for what she does is comes through as she engages with candidates and shares opportunities. Her ability to quickly understand a company, assess the challenges, and turn those challenges into the most exciting options for prospects, makes Paula a real asset to the team.

Paula comes to PeopleTactics with a wealth of knowledge and as well as a diverse recruiting background. Her industry experience ranges from Travel, Technology, CPG, Professional Services, to Construction and Engineering. She has worked with organizations from Fortune 100 to start ups including such companies as ADP, M&M Mars, The Hertz Corporation, and American Express Global Business Travel.

Paula attended Florida Atlantic University and is active in HR, Recruiting, and Womens’ organizations, including the National Association of Professional Women.
